MINUTES OF SCHOOL BOARD MEETING

Date: 29th May 2025.

Time: 5.38pm.

Present: Chi Whitehead, Kim Semmens, Nik Massey, Michelle Dempsey, Geva Downey

Actions taken: Reviewed. No conflict identified.

Minutes from March 2025 Meeting: Read as true and correct. Moved - Nik. Seconded - Kim. Carried / passed.

Matters Arising:

  • Sports shirts ordered, delivery due next term.
  • Container purchased and delivered, in use as PE shed.
  • Music room grant - Kim to ask if we can use the grant for the sensory garden.
  • Idea to add Maori plants that could be grown and used as instruments.

Focus will be literacy, maths, attendance.

Consult with whanau via survey to decide on one more focus.  Use Matariki day (27 June) to ask.
