Kia ora whānau,

Great news! Pio Terei is coming back to Kaiwaka to speak about positive parenting with whānau from our kura. We will be inviting all local schools and whānau to attend and be part of this awesome night.

Put aside Thursday the 13th of June from 6:00pm to come along for dinner and to listen to Pio talk. It will held at the KSA.

I have just met Pio at the Principal's Conference our leadership team is currently attending and he told me how excited he is to come back to Kaiwaka School and that he loved meeting everyone. He even said he would like to stay over and come to an assembly the next day to meet our children and teachers too.

Pio has just been working on some short videos (very funny) about talking with your children so have a look at the links.

Our school pool is now closed for the season. There is no need to return any keys - the lock is changed each year.

Garden to Table

Do you have a surplus of fruit or vegetables that we could use up in our Garden to Table sessions? Please keep us in mind over the winter as we would love to use up any produce that is surplus to your requirements that might otherwise go to waste.

Please email Glenys (g.read@kaiwaka.school.nz) or let the school office know.
